Project Background

There are 7 vulcanizing machines in Rows 4 and 5 of the Vulcanization Section, Manufacturing Department 3 of a certain tire factory, which belong to the Omron C200H series. This series has been out of production for more than ten years, making it difficult to purchase genuine spare parts. Moreover, its functionality and stability are relatively low, and problems such as module error reports and crashes often occur during the production process, leading to the downgrading of finished tires. To reduce costs and improve process stability, it is necessary to upgrade and transform the modules.


 

          

 


Solutions

Our company uses Mitsubishi Q01 series PLC to replace the original PLC. We carry out on-site installation and replacement of the PLC in the cabinet, and also replace the electrical components in the cabinet that have potential safety hazards or functional deficiencies, so as to make the system more stable and durable. After replacing the PLC, we program the PLC according to the customer's vulcanization process, conduct equipment debugging and touch screen configuration. During the process, we supplement and modify the unreasonable and inconvenient aspects of the previous operations based on the feedback from on-site operators and the equipment management department.

After multiple vulcanization experiments, we have provided the customer with a set of control systems that are convenient, stable, safe and have a higher qualification rate.
